New York is home to one of the nation’s largest middle market sectors, with approximately 10,000 firms employing more than 4 million New Yorkers and generating almost $500 billion in annual revenue. What’s more, New York middle market companies report significantly higher confidence in the national and global economies than their peers across the U.S., suggesting an optimistic outlook for this sector’s job creation and revenue growth.

The event will feature a keynote discussion by Tom Stewart, Executive Director of the National Center. Most recently, Tom was Chief Marketing and Knowledge Officer for international consulting firm Booz& Company. Prior to that, he was Editor and Managing Director of Harvard Business Review, and earlier served as the Editorial Director of Business 2.0 magazine and was a member of Fortune’s Board of Editors.

The event is co-hosted by the New York Business Council and the National Center for the Middle Market.
