As the year draws to a close, it's the perfect time to reflect on the incredible journey we've had at the National Center for the Middle Market. 2023 has been a year of growth in digital outreach, enhanced research and growing our membership. Let us celebrate the milestones we've reached and bid farewell to another successful year supporting the middle market.

Breaking Down the Numbers 

Let's rewind to the beginning of the year when we set the goal of relaunching our podcast, The Market that Moves America, after a two-year hiatus. We released 9 podcast episodes with the best-performing episode being “Google Cloud Talks Middle Market” which even gained enough attention to be cited in a Forbes article. In addition, we have made 4 guest appearances on podcasts as well.

Our Expert Perspectives provided 9 blog posts to help stimulate conversations around the middle market. Leigh Radtke, Head of North America Product for Visa Business Solutions, one of NCMM’s sponsors, wrote our most viewed article on “How Passion for Mid-Size Companies Fuels Solutions”. 

The most important foundation of our work lies in the data. This year we produced 3 research papers and a multi-year impact report. 

Membership Spotlight: The Heart of Our Community 

We want to shine a spotlight on the companies who have found value in engaging with our resources that help drive the data and awareness around the middle market. This year we added 6 new companies to our evolving and growing membership. We look forward to continuing our partnership with them to produce more content and help them find success.

Around the Country in 365 Days

The best part about our work is getting out into the field and interacting with those dedicated to the middle market as well as those who seek to learn more. Our team participated in 13 speaking engagements in 9 cities across the United States. For those unable to join us in person, we also hosted or presented at 8 virtual events.

No celebration would be complete without expressing our heartfelt gratitude.
