Kenneth Boyer’s areas of expertise include operations strategy, technology management, and e-commerce operations. He has published more than 40 journal articles and has been quoted in several prominent periodicals, including The New York Times, Business 2.0, Chicago Tribune, and USA Today. He has given invited presentations in eight different countries. Before joining the Fisher faculty, he served as a professor and associate professor in the Department of Supply Chain Management at Michigan State's Broad College of Business, an assistant and associate professor at DePaul University, a visiting associate professor at the London Business School, and a visiting professor at Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne in Switzerland. Boyer is co-editor in chief of Journal of Operations Management. He has memberships in Society of Manufacturing Engineers, Academy of Management, Production and Operations Management Society, and Decision Sciences Institute. Boyer’s professional activities include serving in several leadership positions within the Decision Sciences Institute and the Academy of Management. He earned a PhD in Operations Management from Fisher College of Business.
